Popular consultation forums begin to build the development plan of the State of Mexico 2023-2029

  • The first forum will be held on November 29 in Toluca with the Axis of Zero Corruption and Government of the People and for the People.

  • They invite Mexicans to participate in People’s Consultative Forums, where their proposals will be taken into account.

TOLUCA, State of Mexico.- The government of teacher Delfina Gómez Álvarez will launch the People’s Consultative Forums for the preparation of the Development Plan of the State of Mexico 2023-2029, which seeks to incorporate the proposals of Mexicans in the construction of the transformation of the entity.

The first forum will be held on November 29 at the EDOMÉX Convention and Exhibition Center in the city of Toluca, with the axis of zero corruption and government of the people and for the people, coordinated by the Secretariat of the Control Authority.

Topics such as Bringing government closer to the people: “Government of the people and for the people” will be developed through working groups; Fight against corruption; Transparency and clear accounts; Social participation and citizen oversight; Inter-institutional coordination.

In this sense, citizens are invited to participate in these Forums, which will be held in different regions of the entity, where their proposals and requests will be accepted, so that society and the government can jointly build a better quality of life for the population, especially those who need it most.

The forums, which are divided into four main and three transverse axes, will be held on the following dates:

  • Axis of zero corruption and government of the people and for the people, November 29 in Toluca.
  • Transverse axis of Gender Equality, November 30 in Chimalhuacán.
  • Decent Employment and Economic Development Axis, December 4 in Cuautitlán Izcalli.
  • Alignment of the Transverse Axis with the Sustainable Development Goals, December 6 in San Felipe del Progreso.
  • Transversal Axis Construction of Peace and Security, December 8 in Naucalpan.
  • Environmental Wellbeing and Universal Access to Water Axis, December 11 in Valle de Bravo.
  • Social Welfare Axis, December 13 in Texcoco.
  • Decent employment and economic development Osa Rescate del Campo, December 15 in Tejupilco.

The Development Plan of the State of Mexico is a document that establishes the objectives to face and overcome the social, political and economic problems and demands of the subject.
